With most of the country now in lockdown, it’s the perfect time for a little self care moment and I have the perfect little trio of masks to take your self care time to the next level.
Let me introduce you to Enbacci. Founded by the Melbourne based, Mother-Daughter team, it is an innovative luxury skincare brand. They wanted to create something unique and proudly Australian, knowing that Australia has bountiful access to resources. I’ve used a few of their skincare bits over the years and have always enjoyed how well they work. You can now show Enbacci from My Haircare and Beauty so it’s now even easier to shop their beautiful skincare.
But lets get into what you’re really here for…the face masks!
Detoxifying Face Mask
The Detoxifying Clay Mask is the perfect mask if you are looking for something to help with blemishes or impurities, but you don’t want something that is going to dry your skin out. It contains a balanced combination of kaolin clay and humectants to removes impurities from the pores, whilst maintaining hydration. It leaves the skin feeling rejuvenated with a healthy and radiant glow. Because of this balance it is suitable for all skin types, but always patch test first, particularly if you have sensitive skin.
To use the mask, you simply cleanse your skin and then apply the mask. You can apply it all over, or just where you need to. Leave it for 10-15 minutes before using a warm face washer to remove.
I was really surprised by this mask. Being a detoxifying mask, I expected it to be a thick, drying clay, but it was actually really creamy when you apply it, almost like a thick moisturiser. It does dry slightly on the skin over the course of the 10-15 minutes, but not in the tight feeling that many clay masks do. After washing it off, my skin felt like it had been given a hydration boost, but was also just soft and fresh. It did bring a couple of blemishes to the surface of my skin, which is not unexpected with a detoxifying mask, but they healed quickly. It may have taken over as my new favourite clay mask…

Age Revitalising Face Defence Sheet Mask
The Age Revitalising Face Defence Mask is a sheet mask that combines the power of stem cells cultivated from UttwilerSpätlauber (a Swiss variety of apples) and LeucojumAestivum Bulb Extract because of their powerful antioxidant properties. It is designed to target the signs of ageing and help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
To use you apply the sheet mask to cleansed skin and leave on for 15-20 minutes (I’d recommend leaving it on until you start to feel the mask drying slightly). Then massage the excess serum into the skin and décolletage for maximum rejuvenation.
I should start by saying that fine lines and wrinkles are not my biggest skin concern at this current point, so I can’t give you in depth insight into how effective this mask in that area. However, I thoroughly enjoyed wearing it. The mask is a slightly bigger fit, so it meant that there was a little extra material for my little face, which I tucked under my chin and then just folded slightly at the edges. It wasn’t the kind of big that was uncomfortable. I think it’s great because it is going to be suitable for different faces. I really enjoyed how hydrated and refreshed my skin felt after using this mask. Particularly over the course of the next day I noticed that my skin felt plumper and glowier(which is my skin goal!!). I loved how fresh it left my skin feeling. So if you’re after a mask that is going to give your skin that glow boost, particularly before an event or, lets be real, you just want a lockdown refresh, this is the perfect option. I would definitely recommend this for someone looking for a mask targeted to anti-ageing benefits.

VitisVinifera Rejuvenating Mask
The last mask I tried is probably my favourite of the three. If you want to rejuvenate your skin after a long day at the office (or in front of a screen) or after a fun night, then this is the mask for you. It is designed to help restore balance and glow. The VitisVinifera Rejuvenating Mask helps to protect the skin against environmental stresses and the first signs of ageing, leaving the skin with a healthy youthful complexion.
To use, just like the Face Defence, you apply to cleansed skin and leave for approximately 15-20 minutes before removing. Then massage the extra serum into your face and décolletage.
This mask gave me the glowy hydration boost that I really look for in a sheet mask. Similar to the Face Defence, it is a larger fit, but it meant that I could tuck it under my chin and I just folded over slightly around my hairline if I needed. After I finished wearing this mask, when I removed it I just adored how fresh and hydrated my skin felt. I definitely noticed that after wearing it, my skin looked brighter, more hydrated and when I applied my make up it just looked sooo fresh!! It’s definitely a sheet mask that I feel could suit most skin types as it’s hydrating but not thick or heavy. It would also be beautiful and refreshing in summer if you popped in the fridge for a bit before applying.

I thoroughly enjoyed taking this deep dive into Enbacci’s face masks and have definitely found some new masks that will be joining my regular rotation. So when you see me in Zooms for the next little while in a face mask, you’ll know exactly what I am wearing!
