We all have these days – bad hair days. But aside from the frustration of not being able to style your hair the way you want to, it can also dampen your mood. But do not let bad hair day get you down. I am going to show you some simple tricks that you can use to style your hair into submission, even on a bad hair day.

Slick Ponytail

This might not be a ground-breaking tip but hey, it works! A slick ponytail provides an added incentive though – it instantly gives you a sophisticated look. Hence, you look well put together without doing too much effort. Add in a leave-in conditioner to freshen up your hair and comb it back through to form a ponytail.

Add in Hair Accessories

Oftentimes, you get bad hair day because you are starting to get bored with your look. Hence, spice it up by adding in a few hair accessories into the mix! A cleverly placed hair accessory can hide any imperfections in your hair while also adding a nice touch to your look. One of the most trusted hair accessories around is an embellished headband.

Wrap it Up!

Just like a hair accessory, wrapping your hair up in a turban or scarf is also a great way to camouflage your bad hair day. Aside from looking chic and trendy with the head scarf, any frizz or halo that has formed out of your hairstyle will look intentional.

Curl it Under

When your split ends are showing, the best way to end the problem is to snip them off. However, this is not possible when you are not scheduled for a haircut yet. For those days, try curling your hair under. There is another incentive for opting for this style – you can immediately add bounce and body to your hair. It is therefore a quick way to mask frayed ends and keep your hair looking healthy. You can do this yourself at home using a hair straightener.

Halo Braid

Clear beauty

The downside to opting for a ponytail or leaving your locks loose during a bad hair day is that it can expose your oily roots. Halo braids, on the other hand, will help to address this problem. If your hair is particularly oily and the uncontrollable oily feeling dampen your mood, go for a fun hairstyle like a halo braid. You can also finish your style with a glossing mist to create a natural glossy finish to the look.

What is your trick to dealing with a bad hair day?
