• Backcomb your hair to add more volume and texture to your top knot. You do not want to have a limp bundle of hair on top of your head.
• Create more volume in the knot by twisting the hair to form a circular shape.
• Add a bit more stability into the top knot by sticking in bobby pins. This will help keep your knot in place.
• Always finish off with a styling spray when you are done. This will give hold to the hairstyle. If not, then you could leave hair with unsightly frizz that makes it look like a strong wind just blew right through you.
