Hello Hair is our latest Aussie-owned brand to make its way onto our website. It is a business established by three Melbourne-based girls, they have created a brand that is designed to make every girl’s dream of amazing hair days a reality.

Hello Hair: Why Is It So Good for Your Hair?

Say Hello to Hello Hair!

Hello Hair was borne out of three girls’ desire to achieve an all-natural treatment for their hair. While there are many options in the market, most of them are made out of nasty chemicals and synthetic ingredients that do more harm than good to your hair (and the environment!).

In 2013, the idea for Hello Hair finally came to be. From a combination of environmental elements, harsh chemicals, and heat styling tools, this brand was developed in order to rescue hair from more damage. Thus, these girls did their research on the best natural ingredients, tapping the natural healing power of these ingredients to enjoy guilt-free hair care.

Hello Hair is, therefore, on a question to transform hair care. It sets out to create a range of vegan-friendly and cruelty-free hair products that are suited for a wide range of hair types. And more importantly, these products are kinder to the environment!

Why you must avoid parabens and sulphates in your hair care products?

Parabens and sulphates – do these ingredients sound familiar? It’s because you might have seen them in the list of ingredients in your beauty products, including hair care products like shampoo and conditioner. It has become a buzz word in the beauty industry and is finally getting attention to their potential risks.

Both of these ingredients are known to interact with the body and can pose a variety of health risks. Parabens are a type of protein that can be retained by major organs such as the heart, lungs, and brain. They can disrupt your hormones that can lead to cancer risk.

On the other hand, sulphates are cleansing agents that are designed to clean dirt and oil. When you use it on your hair, it can strip off the natural moisture. While it can clean your hair and scalp, it can bring about a host of problems in the long run such as drying, hair colour fading, and hair loss.

Does Hello Hair do animal testing?

Hello Hair: Why Is It So Good for Your Hair?

No. This is one of the philosophies of Hello Hair in an effort to introduce an all-natural hair care treatment into the market. For this reason, all products from this brand do not perform any animal testing.

If you are against brands that do harm to the animals, always look for cruelty-free brands. And Hello Hair is one of those! This brand is certified cruelty-free by the Choose Cruelty Free Australia.
