Frizz and dry hair are common conditions shared by women. However, this does not mean that you have to learn to live with it. There are several products in the market designed to nourish the strands and hydrate them to combat signs of dryness and damage. But even when you do not have access to these branded products there is still a way to bring the health back into your damaged locks. In fact, you can even find some of these ingredients to DIY hair treatments and conditioners in your own refrigerator or pantry.
Yogurt Hair Treatment Mask
Yogurt is one of the best natural hair conditioners, which makes it a fantastic ingredient to use when treating damaged hair. For this particular hair mask recipe, you need to combine yogurt with egg white that instantly hydrates your damaged hair.
Start by beating the egg white until it has that smooth texture. Then, add 5-6 tablespoons of yogurt into the mixture. Simply massage the mixture onto hair and leave it on there for a while. Try wearing a shower cap to secure your locks together and to allow better absorption of the mask recipe. Ideally, you need to let the mixture sit for up to 30 minutes before rinsing with a mild shampoo.

Banana Hair Mask
Another natural ingredient that has plenty of benefits for your hair is banana. In fact, it is also a popular ingredient in several DIY hair mask recipes. Aside from banana, you will also need the following: egg, milk, olive oil, and honey.

Avocado and Banana
This DIY hair conditioner is made up of the following ingredients: banana, avocado, extra virgin olive oil, honey and eggs. First off, you have to peel and cut the avocado. Or, you can use a whole avocado if you have long hair. Smash the fruit until it has a pastey consistency. Take half a banana and combine it with two tablespoons of olive oil. Add this to the mixture. At this point, you can add in the egg mixture to give a smooth finish to the mixture.
Work with dry hair on this one. Start by applying the homemade conditioner from the top section but make sure you do not apply it onto the scalp. Slowly work your way down. Focus on applying the homemade mixture on the hair tips since they are most vulnerable to damage. Leave it on for about 10 minutes before rinsing with water. You will notice that hair feels smoother and looks shinier.
